Privacy Policy

This is the record of what this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is short, because we collect very little.

What this site collects

This website collects two things: what you type into a form, and a count of the pages people visit. The first is the one that identifies you. If you reach out through the contact form, we receive a contact card: your name, your email address, and - only if you choose to give them - your organization, phone number, and a message. We also keep the path you chose when you contacted us, so the right person answers. That is the whole list. If you visit and type nothing, we hold nothing that identifies you - only the visit counts described under Website analytics below.

Consent

Nothing is sent without your say-so. The form includes an express consent checkbox. It is not pre-ticked, and the form does not submit without it. We use what you send us for one purpose: to respond to you. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a list you did not ask to join. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us, and we will stop.

Where your information lives

Bio_Sole is the American arm of Autonomous_ID, a Canadian company. The information you submit through this site is hosted on servers in Canada, and access to it is limited to the people who need it to answer you. This policy is written with Canada's federal privacy law, PIPEDA, and Quebec's Law 25 in mind, and it is meant to be read without a lawyer at your elbow.

Website analytics

We count visits ourselves, on our own servers. No cookies are set and no third-party analytics service is involved, which is why you have never seen a cookie banner here. For each page you open or link you click, we record the page, the time, the language you are reading in, and general details about your browser and device. From your network address we look up a country - the address is used for that lookup and then discarded, never stored. These visit records are kept for 18 months and then deleted.

To tell one visit apart from another, your browser holds a random number for as long as your visit lasts. It lives in the tab rather than in a cookie, and it is gone when you close the tab, so it cannot follow you between visits or onto anyone else's website. If you do send the contact form, that random number is saved alongside your contact card, which lets us see which pages you read before writing to us. Ask us to delete your information and it goes too.

What this site does not collect

There are no advertising trackers here. No ad pixels, no cross-site profiles, no third-party marketing scripts following you when you leave.

And to be plain about the question people ask most: no product data lives on this website. Gait and footprint measurements are handled in separate, secured systems that never touch this site. The website cannot see that data, store it, or share it, because it never has it.

Your rights

You may ask what we hold about you. You may ask us to correct it. You may ask us to delete it. Send any of these requests to privacy@bio-sole.ai - we will confirm we received it and respond within the time the law allows, and usually much sooner. If you are in Quebec, Law 25 gives you further rights over your information, and the same address handles those requests too.

Questions and changes

If any part of this policy is unclear, write to privacy@bio-sole.ai and a person will answer. If we change this policy, the change will appear on this page, in plain language, and we will say what changed.
